Okay so i bought a second hand belt cp from another member which was 100% in good condition and ready to fly.
Ever the optimist I took a spare 6ch spektrum reciever and bound it to my dx6i and went to fit it to the newly aquired 3d stunt flying machine.
1. Tail rotor was going wrong way, but blades had been turned around.
2. Gyro was upside down and underneath the heli directly below main shaft.
3. The protech b-160 servos that it boasted had so much play in them it was unreal. utter shite servos i wouldnt even give them to a plank pilot.
4. Main shaft was bent !
5. Canopy had weights in it which i thought was weird.
6. Linkages shot on head assy.
This is not a dig at sqwidge but quite worrying that he now has a blade 400
I have managed to replace all the servos back to the original esky ones apart from the tail which now has a eflite ds75 (these have no play on them at all.)
The tail does as it should, gyro put back home to where it belongs and CNC head fitted with new main shaft.
I removed the original ESC and fitted my spare blade 400 one as it had the same connectors as my bats.
I leveled the swash and fitted 325mm blades.
I tested on the livingroom floor and all that was needed to get it responding correctly was to reverse the rudder channel.
test flight soon as it was dark and blowing a gale.
