My wife has bought me a heli ( humming bird elite cp plus),It is second hand of e-bay.I,ve flown mcx so i was well chuffed with it.
It came with the training kit and i did a quick check and started it up on a tile floor to get used to her,It is a mode 1 and ive started to get to grips with her now.I've started to power her up so she has her skids just of the floor and was doing well and ready to go a bit higher.
Now this is where my problem started I powered up and she would not leave the ground
I've tried and tried but but to no avail.
It came with a 6 channel Futaba transmitter,is there a setting on this that might not be wrong? (i'm only used to a simple 4 channel)
I've look through the the book work for her and the only thing i can see that might be wrong is that in the book it says that the servo horns should all be at 90 degree to the ball rods and i,ve looked at my mcx and they are 90 degree as well but the ones on the humming bird are not. Could this be the problem?
I did not want to change them as the box said it came 95% ready so i thought that the factory would have set them up like this.
I might be clutching at straws and it might be just some thing simple.I can't get hold of the seller but he said that he did not use it much.
Any advice welcomed as i'm gutted
