          So very true..Paul

I feel most sorry for all the UK sponsors that have poured alot of cold hard cash into the event, to make it what it is today. I doubt any of them have regained the cash they laid out in returned sales, they were doing it for the UK heli scene. Now that 3DM has major worldwide sponsores Align/ElyQ etc I doubt 3DM is bothered about the UK sponsorship much and wasn't a factor in moving the event at all.

Andy is very very good, but Duncans more and more aggressive style is better. He is an innovator and our best pilot. All of the best pilots need our support and as I said above I don't think that this is the last time we see the Masters I just believe for a global comp it has to be just that. If your flying in from the states or Australia it doesn't matter whether it's here, Spain or Russia.

Up 3 DX it's going to be a hell of a competition, I think Barringer has to hone and finalise the format so all of you superb 3D exponents know what they have to aim for.

guys the thing about uk 3d competitions...pilots like andy/trevor/stefan/patrick/ade/brian/and loads more have the option to compete against duncan and steve instead of being in the lower class ie experts in the masters

I agree wholeheartedly, however, having watched Stefan and Charlie fly I don't think that they are a long way from the Masters anyway. Good luck next year boys!

Spain... Go for the women and the night life....

if I went to the Masters you wouldn't see me rise to 2pm because i'd of been out all night and probably be in the wrong hotel trying to remember where I should actually be watching 3D heli flying.. no wait i'd be finding another bar and a late night.

I'll stick to 3D championship in the UK and supporting that by going to it

not relating to duncan because hes stunning..and stefan admires duncan
but there were a few pilots that didnt have the ability to belong in certain classes..and that has been the case a few times and has resulted in poor results for them..
example...ie sometimes there has been a few pilots who were in the masters class and theres better pilots in the expert class but they never get the chance to compete in the same class because there has been a dividing line not allowing the two pilots to come head to head.not due to any reasons really just due to circumstances..competing in your own country allows the possiblilty to get beat and to retain your title in the uk could be harder than winning..i know there is mainly two classes in competitions and maybe thats something to think about..maybe an open class could work..dunno really what you guys think
                    cheers craig simmons
ps and maybe every pilot could get a small trophy to say well done

I wouldn't set foot at 3D Masters even if it came back to the UK. I supported the event because it gave international recognition to the UK and our pilots. This is no longer the case so I am out. Frankly for anyone considering travelling abroad to a heli event my advice is to save a bit more and go to IRCHA Jamboree. I went 3 years ago and the whole experience is something that 3D Masters will never be able to provide.

Could be a good idea Craig. When I was racing bikes (80cc road racing) they used to put us in with other classes and the same happens in some forms of gt racing. So even if your not in the top class you could still win the whole event or you could beat a few of the higher classed people, not win the top prize but still win your class.

why have two classes..no need.it would be more fun and there wouldnt be a deviding line and all the pilots can interact to become better pilots and friends
                                cheers craig
