Thats good news, but i bet that wouldn't have been the case if you hadn't publicly voiced about it on here...

I don't think it would have made any difference Jamie, I have had 2 FlightPower replacements straight over the counter "No questions asked" not long back.

One puffed up, The other was failing to balance correctly, Yes I know that shouldnt happen and can't argue but when you get brand new replacements after 7 months usage who am I to argue.

Never mentioned it on any forum.

I know FlightPower are getting some stick on these forums, Maybe justified in some cases but as far as back-up is concerned you can't knock them.

I think you were too quick to judge Tom, it's always best to let them have a chance to sort things out before going into one, a rant will only **** people off and make them less inclined to help. As I said to you, I don't know anyone who has had a problem and FlightPower has not dealt with it so I didn't think you'd be the first.

To be honest all my dealings with FP cells have been via my local shop not direct and I have no complaints with either as I've always been sorted


My comment was aimed at other distributors who never have a problem with any of their products according to their MD... In the real world it's different though

I only have 2 companies on my black list, Mikado for offering a free fix to its US customers and expecting the poor sods in the UK to pay for it, probably a war thing. The other is Sussex Model Centre for having the worst customer service this side of the channel.

I can fully agree with this, I had a 500 out of the first batch and when they got metal motor mounts and 0.7M main gears FOC in the US I emailed Flightpower (UK Importer) to ask when we would get ours, I didn't even get the courtesy of a reply to the email........

Well Flight power are out of stock, but promised replacements when there next shipment comes in a week on monday, and a brucey is there sending evo25's which look a bit more suited to the 600e , so hopefully no more problems

Only thing is im now without a heli lol. ah well... would a 500 carry these packs?

Well... good end to this story, 2 brand new evo 25 packs on my doorstep this morning, so a thumbs up for flight power for replacing my packs with the updated version, that are apparently more suitable to the 600e than the evo 20s

And thanks to Thomas for kicking there butt a bit
