Can I just clarify that Preston Helicopters is nothing to do with Hesketh Bank Helicopter club at all. A few of Preston Heli's members have paid to joined Hesketh Bank club and the clubs are in no way affiliated or amalgamated together.

    Normal service is now resumed

got a point there really steve, how ever when we initially spoke to yourselfs about this it was to allow our club to tie up with yours and share the field with us as paying members. And now it is a case of we are just members of another club aswell as our own which wasnt the way it was initiallyintended. yes in response to Stephens post we are not twoclubs as one, more one club subscribing to anoher to share a flying field iyswim

You asked about affiliating yourselves with us and we said no. Why would we want to affiliate with a club that doesn't even have a flying field. I was, up until recently, a member of the Dolphin club and a committee member at Hesketh Bank and wouldn't dream of saying that Hesketh Bank was assiciated with the Dolphin club. I was merely another member at a second club, it has nothing to do with sharing a flying field as your statement implies that you run preston helicopter club from my club and that isn't the case. Some of your members have joined Hesketh Bank club. We have had a few people turn up lately asking if it was preston helicopter club

Im sorry if it comes across that way it is not intended that way. As you know i jointly run a fully BMFA affiliated club with a few friends and we get over 100 hits on the website per day (weird seeing as i havent updated it fer a bit) And a lot of the emails i get is from people wanting to meet up on sundays and as you know im at hekky bank most sundays. So perhaps thats where the confusion lies. We at preston club are very grateful to your club for letting us fly there and wish to continue to do so for a long time into the future so if we are treading on any toes RING ME or JEZ you have our numbers if not they are on our website, and we'll sort the problems out, like the one we just had recently. Discussion over for now ill see you tomorrow and we'll clear this up in person

that great.dont get me wrong.i love the 700 myself just wish align would take care of things.the rjx 90 isnt the same price so not comparable.but if you guys keep buying fixes it might be.ie i might buy a 700 at 500 quid but dont want to buy parts to correct the errors,im sure you get my point..i said to stefan when we were going to 3d champions.."i might buy a 700 for myself stef"but after seeing duncan i was left confused
                            cheers

Very fair comment, but overall i have been very lucky with both Align models and electronics. It is just a shame that they possibly rush stuff into production too quick, which we all wanted i suppose rather than put more test units out there for a while.

Having said that i suppose thats what they do except they are selling them to the public which is dodgy as it can backfire sometimes.
