      Hi Aidi,

I had one as an upgrade but sold on ebay for £210. I liked the phone but preferred my N73 as I don't treat my phones that good. The N95 8GB has awful battery life and looks like if I dropped it, it may not survive.
      Cheers Matt

I was thinking much the same Matt, get it, and flog it. £210 is a good price... at least it will pay some of the way towards the Trex 600 NSP i bought today!!!

I'll check ebay for the going rate.

I've got one mate. Not really that bothered/knowledgeable about mobile phones but its a good phone. The camera is 5 megapixels and takes nice shots (avatar for example). Mine came with Spiderman loaded onto it as you can download music and movies. Playback is amazingly good and easy to watch considering the screen size. Cant comment on the GPS function as I dont use it. Also, its quite big and takes a bit of getting used to. I mainly use it as a phone/personal organiser/camera. You are welcome to mess with it tomorrow if you want.

Thanks mate, ill check out the PHONE tomorrow!! but i have just checked the going rate... £220 is the average they are going for.. I think ill stick with my phone as it does what i need it to do, and the battery seems pretty crap on the N95.. 220 will cover the cost for all the radio gear too!!

Well after flying the Raptor it was becoming ever apparent that i was going to have to get something a bit more snappier sooner or later. After a lot convincing by Pete (well not that much) i popped down to Hobby Hanger and got one. Radio gear will be here tomrrow from Fast Lads.

Started the build tonight, and so far got the head and clutch done. Very impressed so far!

Battery life is good mate. The old N95 was rubbish but the new one is better. Saying that, a phone is a phone and if your happy with the one you have got then I'd definatly sell it. I'd have sold mine but my old one packed up! They are £500 to buy new from a mobile shop so £220 is a good price.

BTW, that NSP will be the dogs!! Mattie can really fly and if he likes em that says it all. We have quite a growing number at DMHC so lots of knowledge/tips building up.

Good on you for getting the NSP Aidi!.
Might I recommend the metal fan upgrade if you haven't got it already.
Ended up selling the Align governor as I didn't get on with it very well and put a revlock 10 in instead.
Other than that the 600 flies very well.
                          Adrian.

i upgraded recently but decided against the N95 in the end

depends what you want it for.

the camera and video is excellent
you can buy tomtom for it

                            however,

normal phone keyboard and no touch screen lets it down for brousing the net and its symbian so doesnt run the spartan bluetooth software at the moment.

have a look at the HTC range of phones.

i ended up getting the tytn II and hated it for the first couple of weeks but once you get used to it, its great. Vodafone call it the v1615

install a few free applications and its absolutely brill.

if your using it for sat nav or brousing the net then you will need a car charger no matter what you decide to get.

my n958gb is great, first 2 months the loudspeaker broke, the slide started sticking, text software packed up, camera software packed up!

I got a free replacement with updated software. All the ones with orange t mobile or o2 software are pretty poor unless u have a new o2 one, so you can reflash the fone and delete it all with the pc. loads of cool apps. Battery life after 5 charges (its a lipo remember!!) is really good, getting 3-4 days standby with a little use.
