What Kv motor and what battery are you using?

That should be fine, i thought maybe you were running a 3S motor with a 6S battery or something.

i think once I get the current sensor on it and see what sort of amps I'm pulling it should be a bit clearer. Something is amiss though.

It looks like the problem was the canopy was rubbing on the motor casing in the end. I’ve dremelled it all back and had a few flights now and all seems to be ok again.
