All I can say to that guys wife is B**ch! Totally uncalled for no matter why. She needs locking up unless he was having an affair, which it doesn't sound like, perhaps she was and her fancy man broke it off....?

I couldn't have done one thing in this hobby without the help Clare has given me. She's an absolute star.

She has her own hobby and we're both happy that each of us has a passion for something else outside of our relationship. Clare will always be number one to me and everything else comes after that. After all, without her I'd be a useless wreck! lol

I agree with the earlier comment that their relationship must have been in some sort of trouble for this to happen.

Family comes first...no question. But the interests of each family member is very important for the whole family unit.

Just like flying helis isn't easy, marriage and families aren't easy either but both are fascinating to make progress with.
I agree , if she did that then look out she is obviously deranged and i wouldn't like to fall out with her.

My wife is very good about it all, the heli, cars, boats. She like to take pics of them when we are out or film them. All in all very lucky to have her....

i have to be honest. my mrs doesn't mind flying at all. infact she used to dabble in fixed wing with me before a brain tumour op put paid to her being able to see well enough a couple years back when she was 24. she still likes to come watch the helis most weeks and have a cup of tea in the hut and a natter with the other guys wifes.

i do know a few who are not so lucky though and they are barely on the field when the mobile phone rings and the wife is asking how long, when are you coming back, go get milk from shops etc....don't think i could live with that.

                          cheers

I know a couple others like that too...LOL....

My Mrs just lets me do my thing as long as it doesn't interfere with our close relationship...LOL..just going flying dear

Roughly translated that means. 1/ do your own thing Sunday if you must..2/dont bore me with it (more interested in Emmerdale!)..and 3/ I Dont want to know how much..£££££'s.

Once your into Helis... No 3 comes easiest...but Hey were a normally married couple after 23 years..well I think we are..

Eeeh, thank Goodness I'm not married, and my family are very supportive (I think partly cos the helis gets me off my fat backside a bit and away from in front of the PC.)
