I dont really buy my helis on the history or perceived prestige of the brand name. If you think those things in themselves makes a heli more desirable then fine, each to their own.

I don't think you can comment on perceived prestige if you have not owned one. There's nothing posh about a logo it's made of plastic but how they fly and feel is why they are held in the esteem that they are.They require very little maintenance too
ive read your comments many times about the cost or the super combo, a logo is not an Align it won't be bundled with vfm electrics.
Aligns fly fine and they are aimed at the masses and nothing wrong with that but my choice is from experience of both products. Id choose a mikado Heli and it's not because of desirability or cost in the same way as a loose comparison that I'd 'choose' a Honda or a bmw over a ford trouble is on that one the budget does control my decision lol

The Op is talking of outing a logo 700 xxtream for the new 700. Just for curiosity, any body had both and does the new 700 fly any better?

Did you swap out the VTX blades on yours? That was one of the reasons I wanted to get one. I didn't in the end because of the limited motor option of needing a 55mm shaft.

I got my airframe second hand and the vtx blades were already sold. I like halos and had spares so not an issue for me. Yes I would have liked to try them but they are stupid expensive and not something I'd buy on a whim

I must admit the shaft issue hurt as I got my ultimate motor for £55 then I had to spend £33 on the long shaft haha

LOL that was lucky. The Ultimate motor with long shaft was a hundred quid more than a normal Ultimate and at the time, the normal Ultimates became unavailable. I just felt it was a bit of a tie in between Mikado and Scorpion. No chance of just popping in a 800MX on the new 700 so I didn't buy it. Love my Compass 7HV anyway....

Hi all, not flown for about a year or so, looking to get back into it in the new year. Slimming the fleet down as I have too many helis that I don't even fly.

After one all round 700 size electric. Just wondering what people would recommend?

Had keen interest in the new logo 700 and the align trex 700x. Just after some feed back and thoughts to what people think of the two?

Golf gti compares well to an align 600n, great all round kit that's still available.
The 205 gti is a bit of an avant mostro, last good product made by a company that ran off and died!
Put a skoda Octavia vrs in the mix and there's your mikados
