UPS were much better. At least they take it to the local costcutter and you can select same evening.

The problem however is that it is often much easier for them to just dump a bunch of parcels at the local drop-off shop like that. So they take the easy option at the first opportunity rather than try to deliver it again (if you're out the first time or something). Now, that might not be so bad unless... there's the slightest variation in the name or address and you don't have ID that perfectly matches. This happened to me because sometimes my house number is shown slightly different on these automatic address finders that pull it up under the postcode. Anyway, I went to the shop but they wouldn't give me the package (not a Logo 700, something else a while back), so it had to go back to the sender and get posted again! Actually if memory serves I think UPS was able to collect it from the shop and deliver it again but this took a long time.
