I don't see much criticism when people buy nearly new stuff at insanely low prices. Who cares just enjoy how ever you play it.

Which is a good thing for all involved. The guys who enjoys owning the 'latest and greatest' gets his new heli (no harm in that). The manufacturer makes a sale and keeps his business going, a few months down the line the novelty wears off so the heli goes up for sale and someone gets a bargain.. Everyone is happy.

Ive done this so many times its unreal ! Ive had that many new helis in the last 7 years , my last count was 44 I think . These were new releases etc and as you said after ive built them and flown them a few times I sell them on for a fraction of the cost new . I simply love building new helicopters

Mines still at Midland as I couldn't be arsed to fetch it as i'm off on my holidays so it will have to wait until I get back !

Thats one of the reasons I've stopped buying from fast lads - DHL are rubbish. UPS were much better. At least they take it to the local costcutter and you can select same evening. DHL want me to drive to heathrow! Very irritating

Actually DHL do claim to deliver to collection points and their website showed me a list in order of distance, so I selected the nearest one. Unfortunately they completely ignored my request and attempted to deliver it to my home on Monday. It has taken 3 days to go back into the system and out for delivery again. I put it down to poor communication within DHL. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.

Just like to point out that Fastlad did nothing wrong and were very efficient dispatching my kit out considering stock arrived after 3pm in the afternoon. It was DHL at fault. Anyway it's no biggie because I take my time with builds and it will be at least another week before I get it in the air.

Change of heart on servos. Was going to use BLS272SV but decided on X6 HBL575, so waiting for those to arrive. I've skipped over building the frame and moved ahead to other parts I can work on. Tail box is built and now I've started on the rotor head.

I got 2 sets of tail blades in my kit with a note from Mikado apologizing for minor cosmetic defects on the VTX main blades. I couldn't actually see them without my reading glasses. Just a few tiny grey specs under the laminate. i'm happy because I need a new set of tails for my 600SX anyway.
