  • Revolectrix PL8 - How to charge 6v Lead Acid?

Hi all - my PL8 says it can charge a 6v lead acid battery. Can anyone who has the charger or familiar with the charger tell me how?
    In my menus- I can only see 12v or 24v Lead Acid. I need 6v don't I?

I tried to access the presets but I didn't see a 6v option in there neither.

    Thanks

This is the battery I want to charge:

Can you not alter the cell count for the 12V to give you what you need

No - don't think I can...... it's fixed at 12v... I'll check again now actually.

Just looked in the manual and it says 12V only so where did you see the 6V

        Edit : Apparently you can

Yes, see library preset 24. It defaults to 12 cells but you can change it to 6 cells.
To use it copy it to an unused perset. See the Edit function in the CCS software.

Ahh so I have to use the software on the PC? Kinda makes sense I suppose. I tried doing it on the charger but I couldn't change the voltage. I'll try and do this and will update.
          Thank you for helping!

            6 cells is still 12V

What I did was connect two 6v batteries in succession , that makes 12v , I used the old battery & linked the new to it
