Ive not long got back into helis and they seem to consume a lot of my daily thinking, as they should. but i could count the number of good flying days we get on one hand here in the uk. Our flying field is wide open for miles around so its rare to fly in less than 10-20mph winds and even then the good days seem to pop up midweek, so its not always easy to get down there.
Should i ring in sick, start lying to friends and family and put helis in front of everything else in life, or just man up and fly in the wind and rain?.
I love helis, but i do sometimes wonder if this hobby is too weather dependant for our uk summers. I guess that perfect day down the flying field we get every now and then makes it all worth while though.
