I've been battered for a few quid from some very good members on here, which I don't mind at all, they were not silly offers. I'd do the same myself.
It's just how the game works is it not?
I think there should be a rule allowing naughty words in reply to PMs of offers in the for sale section. Anything less than 90% of the asking and words like bugger, sod and shit are fair game. Anything less than 80% and we should be able to roll out the big guns like f&c£ and &u^t etc!!! that would raise awareness of our distaste!!

I guess it doesn't help that the second hand market is pretty slow these days. Seems to me that you can expect to lose around 50% against new prices regardless of things being in pristine condition/hardly flown/loads of upgrades etc. Helis are worse than cars it seems when it comes to depreciation!

You get them off-line too, when we were selling our old house, it was advertised at £280k which was pretty fair, someone came along and offered us £180k - yup a whole 100K less than the asking price. We actually told the estate agents not only is it poor on them to even put it to us but to tell the viewers we would no longer be interested in dealing with them full stop.

I sold an immense load of stuff earlier on in the season and priced it on what I thought was reasonable price , however I still got beaten down on stuff that was 50% of retail and 95% it was in good condition. There were a couple of people I had to do total refunds to as I didn't check its condition before it went out . One thing I will never ever sell again are second hand lipos its not worth the agro !
However on the whole I think everyone I sold to had a good deal and I managed to shift a whole transit full of stuff as you all know . Nothing is ever guaranteed when it comes to selling and some people do take the P but hey ho thats life and its certainly not worth getting upset about !

I was certainly very happy with the bits I had off you Rob, didn't really need some of it but your deals were so good I just thought what the hell it'll come in at some point!
