Revolectrix quality control !!!!

It seems this is the quality of revolectrix MPA boards in the UK !! Although it works ok the thermal tape is a mess ,I got this new board through fastlads , on complaint I was told all their boards look the same so there was no point in changing it , on complaint to John grzan at align UK who are the importers , he said Of course with such tapes its always difficult to get them perfectly aligned, stuff moves during transport and they don’t exactly adhere to the actually polyfuses below perfectly ass they are not exactly a flat surface,.But we’ll look into it and thanks for the pics I will look into it, when I contacted him again his sarcastic reply was "Oh we have run a major investigation and stop work order. New WIS have been put in place with an inspection routine in production , i know this is only ascetics but my 5 year old granddaughter could have done a better job , it's supposed to be a up market product and not something that looks like it came straight from China !



Top quality products should not look like they came from a cheap chineese factory !!!

I tend to agree, my cheap Hobbyking one is better finished than that one.

I've had mine nearly 3 years and its never faltered once. However to be honest I've never looked at the quality as it just works as it should do !

Hi rob , it does work as it should , If I bought a new goblin & it worked as it should BUt the paint wasn't rite I wouldn't be happy
they sell main blades cheap as seconds when they work fine but don't look rite

i have 2 other boards & they are spot on , as you can see the thermal tape is a mess , but the sarcastic response from ALIGN UK has Lost them my business & everybody in our club, ( £8000 aprox a year )we are now using midland heli's ��

But it did come from a cheap Chinese factory.

The thermal tape will have been applied by hand, that's probably why it looks poor.

Don't get me wrong I totally agree , they should be better quality and these are widely used throughout the hobby . Im going to have a look at mine tonight as I have 2 off them .
I cant comment on ALIGN UK's response on here , but thank you for using Midland Helicopters they are a helpful and happy bunch lol ! and they do there utmost to keep there customers happy.

Who is AlignUK?? do you mean robbeUK? if so, then yes i agree then can be a bit sheepish when it comes to faults and returns.

I will be perfectly honest, i think your making a big deal out of something small. The tape is on, granted it's not to the exacting perfectly aligned one in your second photo but nethertheless it is on there.

I'm not quite sure I understand where the sarcastic reply begins and ends in the original post but it doesn't look sarcastic to me.

I agree it would be nice if the tape was perfect on every board, but then it'd be best to cover the whole thing rather than leave the solder joints either side of the fuses exposed.

One of the tapes is in 2 bits & different sizes , when you pay 3 times the price of other boards You expect it to be right , our 5 year old could do better that that

I'm just back from the states , when I was there I was in 2 major hobby shops who sell these boards & both were surprised they ever made to the public , saying they would have sent them back to the manufacturer

If it bothers you that much then ask revo Singapore for some tape in the post and chalk it up.

I think that's the point , it should have been dealt with by fastlads or align UK , & your rite all they had to do was send me out some tape & I would have fixed there mess but sarcasm from align UK is anything but professional

John Grzan (who you say is from Align UK) is CEO of LEO industries, which is half of Revolectrix (the other half being FMA direct), and he seems to be the spokesperson in all the YouTube vids from Revolectrix.

I don't understand how you assume that's sarcasm. Maybe they have run an investigation and did stop work on building them while they did it? That's the way you would normally deal with a low volume production setup when there's a suspected problem.
