Maybe they'll have a rethink about the things they do after that episode. I bet they s**t themselves. We could do with less being t**ts and more about cars.

I quite like the stuff May does in other programmes so hope he managed to distance himself from the other two pillocks.

I know the BBC makes a fortune with Top Gear but even they must start to think again.

What a great program. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I have always liked the Lotus Esprit. My brother in law had one some time ago. It was the older four cylinder model but was very impressive.

Top Gear is just an entertainment programme based around cars, could you imagine how boring it would be if all they did was review the latest fiat shit box or how to buy a second hand car every week. That's why the old top gear lost ratings and was eventually cancelled, just like most other car programmes based on the same format. If you notice even fifth gear has copied and tried to flow the same format as top gear but they can't get it right and it's drab and boring, not as entertaining as top gear.

If you take it for what it is, yes it's scripted and has health and safety all over the place but it's still entertaining. I enjoy the programmes, but if you don't like it don't watch it! Cary on watching XFactor or the Britons got no talent programme.

Another great show tonight ! Okay, it's fairly obvious that Top Gear is scripted, but that's what makes it what it is ! It would be boring if it was all factual and serious

May I respectfully suggest that a programme that leaves many of the audience thinking "That was fun but I wonder how much of it was real" is probably a well edited and well scripted piece of work?
Orson Welles did it quite well in the 1930's....
A bit repetitive to be honest, but I enjoyed it, and look forward to more.

But this goes to the heart of my point, if it is a scripted comedy/entertainment show and makes so much money then why not get better writers? Better Actors?
There's so many out there that could do a much better job for far less money.
