thats another 450 written off, all radio gear ok so at least thats a bonus

then i fly the knight again all going ok bring it in to a hover to land and nasty clancking noise, get it down check it over nothing wrong, try again, engine is a bit rough but running so i thing crud in the carb and call it a day. Cleaned out the carb and still wouldnt run well so packed up and went home. have just stripped engine and the only salvagable part is the carb, the rest is mullered, considering there is a lump of piston missing i cant beleive it ran.

So i have up for grabs
    OS 50 Hyper Carb
    Futaba GY401
    3 x HS65HB servos
    Futaba 3154
    Align 430L Motor
    Jazz 40-6-16
    csm 420 micro gyro

PM me with any reasonable offer
    Cheers
    Richard
    the 401 is now sold
but the rest is still up for grabs as

Just can't get them perfect for some reason.
Whenever I've had problems with tracking on the 450 I've normally found either the damping to be shot or one of the ball links to be coming loose on the head somewhere.

Have a really close at everything on the head and hopefully you'll find it.

Thanks for the tip Richie but I sorted the problem last night..

The genuine Align blades that I fitted were not tracking correct for some reason.

Fitted a new pair of SAB's complete with tracking tape to check them and the job was done in 5 minutes.

Anyone else had this problem with tracking.... Blades just wouldnt track, And yes they were a matched pair brand new..

On the bright side the 450 is flying superb again now..

I had problems with tracking on mine but with SABs. The blade grips had play which was caused by the bearings moving about. I could set the tracking but it would go out on the next flight.
After a tip from someone on here, I took the blade grips off and removed the bearings. I re-installed the radial bearings with a wipe of loctite the inner and outer of the races. Once the loctite had set, the blade grips were tighter on the head and the tracking stayed set.
