  • Amazing Package?

Ok i found this on ebay and thought it was an amazing package so have ordered myself one and thought id share it with you guys since there are 20 of this package available.

Its an eSky King 2 which when looking through the net i found came retailed at 159.99 or there abouts and for that you get 35 mhz 1 battery , 1 set blades and balancer charger.

The kit i found is £49.99 with a further £51.99 postage so totals at £101. £1 for insurance if you fancy it (i did).

you get the standard esky kit everything above plus another 2 lipo's, 5 sets of blades , a sim , training kit , blade caddy ,

i dont know if you think so but i thought this was a bargain , just waiting to see if i get stumped with import taxes.

Its abit late to ask since i already bought it but how do these fly?

No idea about the heli, but had to laugh when I read your signature about the 450. Some people never learn

Not sure if it's anything to go by, but a collegue at work got one off ebay, similar money. The wires to the motor were about to fall off, the setup was way out so it just lurched around on the floor, and spun where the servo didnt have enough travel.

Last I heard it was in bits again following yet another crash having just attempted to repair it.

How much of that is the heli, and how much is him I dont know. But make sure you go through the setup carefully and thoughoughly before trying to do anything with it.

its not that amazing - i bought a brushless version king2 for £65 brandnew from ebay including shipping. it came from china but only had 1 lipo and 2 sets of blades.

couple of weeks later i bought another brushless king2 from the same seller for £70 including shipping.

never had any problems with both of the kings i had.

The King is fine for what it is, once you've upgraded it to a brushless motor (the standard brushed motor is by most accounts a liability).

I had one (the v1, shaft driven tail version) that served me well for learning hovering and moving about a bit. Survives crashes pretty well; often the only bit that would need replacing was the feathering spindle.

Why waste your money, with the money you are spending on a esky you could have bought a Tx and Rx for the GL 450 and be up and flying now........
