its ok dude im just going to get the esky RX (£5 on ebay from english seller) and use the esky controller which is basically the same as the GL one. I cant beleive i ended up with a damn illegal 2.4 set up.....

Right now my gl is collecting dust and its heart breaking , saying that if i could fly it now id probably have smashed it lol

another thing with this king 2 is you need to mod the belt. it slips off the gear apparently so you need to put a washer on the top of the gear. just somethin ive seen people bang on about that own it.
looks like a bargain for someone getting into the hobby.

talk about wasting money after money .... Buy a decent TX and have done with it ... The more ya spend now the less ya have to spend later ... you just said that u have the money to buy the 600n and an engine ?? ... Y not just use it and invest in a decent 2.4 ghz Tx ... They only £250 with servos ... both the dx7 and FF7 are viable options and plug into the nice sim that most use here .... me included ... Ya can then use the Tx ya got to learn to fly then when ya good enough with the GL450 which by that time ya shudda have saved up for t he 600n with no probs at all and all ya will need for the 600n at the end of it all is the gyro and tail servo ....

Geesus ...Ya not gonna get a better offer than that ... Use some of the (money) u say ya got saved for the 600n and engine and just buy the TX/Rx offa Buccaneer ... It's only £20 lol

hi ApachePilotUK the gl is a nice looking heli mate , and your getting good advice here like Mike W said, Buccaneer said, fatmantom said , made2fade said ,as i can tell ya 35 mhs you can get interferance so you risk your heli , and then more parts & maybe blads to, if you follow the guys here you will have a tx that will do ya for any heli ect. just before i started i got a tx cost me 350 euro 35mhs now its brand new & a good one but as soon as i got on here i found i had mad a f.....up now im going to get 2.4 so i wasted that money , & dont forget the dx7 will do ya sim

As i was explaining to bucaneer i dont need another 35mhz TX Mike as ones coming with the HBK2 and i just ordered the esky rx from ebay for £5 including postage,

i know what you guys are saying so before the 600N i will be investing in a DX7 and to likewise RX's for both the esky and the GL450

Thanks for all the advice ill deff look for a second hand dx7 in good condition but the esky tx will do me for the coming weeks for now, is the esky small enough to hover in a large lounge? or is it a decent size heli? is it the same size as the GL??

king2 is smaller than the 450. Unless you have a sports hall sized living room and dont mind things getting attacked by fast moving blades in there, stick to the outside until you know what it can do.

I love my FASST FF7 Tx .. Apache ya not getting the point in all of this and that IS ... BUY a decent radio now that has all the pitch throttle curves and bells and wistles on it already ... instead of a hunk of crap that they come with .. ya will find that ya will progress faster with a decent Tx/Rx than ya wud with a hunk of junk ya seem intent on purchasing ...The 450 is a nice looking heli ... but the elecs on it cud be doing with being better ....Heck i own a few helis and one thing that has the same over the lot of them is my 2.4ghz FF7 which has helped me progress faster than a 35mhz unit ... or it might just be me lol ....
