Does anybody now if this can be down loaded to the TGZ380 beastx clone?

I would say no as the AR7200 is a spectrum product and the 380 is as you rightly say Dave a MicroBeastX clone, 2 different products

But I wonder does the firmware update bring anything else other than the governor mode? It's version 4.0.14 - so maybe other refinements were put in that would benefit all users?

Maybe for users of the AR7200 but not BeastX standalone and theres no mention of anything else in any release notes

Well I'm stuffed. lt seems that I need aux3 to set the head speed which my dx7 doesn't have. I can't understand why they wouldn't use aux2 as without an external gov it's now redundant.

I just stumbled across this too.

I can't immediately see why they would use Aux3 either, still a lot of people on 7 channel radios.

Well it certainly adds to the reasons to upgrade to a DX8 or DX9, but it is going to annoy a lot of people as well ...
