I believe it's a nitro gov only from what I read on HF ... Just incase anyone was getting excited about their 'leccy setups..

Nope - it is nitro only.

I'm trying to work out if the sensor from the ar7100 will work. It lists two sensors on the description but I can't find either from the part numbers given

I would go with the one you've got installed first Rich, it doesn't need to be a back plate sensor, as long as the wiring is correct then I see no reason why it wouldn't work

I've got a spare 7100 sensor as when I picked up my used os55 it came with the sensor attached. Would work better than my current csm sensor setup which can be temperamental as it's on the ragged edge of its distance range.
The only thing stopping me trying it is a lack of a lead to do the update and the rebuild required from the crash a few weeks ago.
