LOL (and at The Manager's "8 minutes"), its not been long thats for sure. I had a couple of...er..."moments" on Saturday, especially where I accidentally overflew the pits in a hard banking/climbing (right) and breaking turn, was expecting to get shouted at but I guess I got away with it, + a nose-in hover that almost ended in tears (just managed to keep composure and not squeal like a girl when the 600 was hovering 3ft in front of me and 3 ft above me, loved the brrrrr noise though!).
You were just bloody unlucky on Saturday m8, nice neat figure-8s/circuits (except insufficient rudder...which we both suffer from lol), it was just that hard descent that caught you out and brain/thumbs lost comms - happens to all (as per N's 450 that ate the dirt also) and it really is just a question of time before I get my comeuppance! 32 tanks without serious incident; when its my turn its not likely to be pretty...overconfidence = high speed lawn dart.
It doesn't compare but my first serious CX crash ****ed me off at first, thought this heli stuff was v.difficult, but persistance and repairs paid off. Best thing I got was the Sim. I swear I spent £20,000 virtual quids on that before I could get a reliable tail and nose-in hover etc - worth its weight in gold.
Sincerely hope all the offers result in a flyable heli; some crashes are harder to take than others but don't let this one knock you hard Since you're local you're very welcome to pop-over and have a go of the sim if you like, see if you can get on with it or not? Just PM me and we can go from there (this weekend is a stopper though).

I've crashed many times. I've almost lost count of the Trex uncontrolled landings.
Just never thought I would be so stupid as to crash on an approach to land with the Nitro which is easier to fly
Still, you live and learn and this hobby really is all in the mind.
Would really like a go on the sim. Would be good to meet up, especially as you and I are the Bury contingent at the club
Have a good easter and hopefully I will be in the air with a Nitro soon and we can arrange something up the club.
If no Nitro, I'll bring the Trex along with the new DX6i. Could be a giggle.

LOL - it can happen, any model, any time...any person! Glad to see chin-up though

Weather permitting I'll see you over Easter at the field. Friday will probably be a bust for me cos I have me a nerdy LAN weekend with my flightsim buddies but I'll be there Sat/Sun/Mon if the weather holds. Definitely bring the 450! N's seems to weather the...er...weather really well so defo bring it along...and all the batteries you have at ur disposal!
