    Thanks for the offer mate.

Unfortunately the rebuild is going to cost more than a new frame.

I've taken some photo's but they are too graphic to post

    Cheers

Bad luck and sorry to hear about ya loss .. Had a similiar accident last year that it was gonna cost the same for the bits as it was nearly the airframe .. so checked the elecs out and they where all ok so bought a new airframe ...I actually laffed when i stoved it as well lol ... Its only money at the end of they day and ya cant take it with ya .. So i bought a second complete heli as a spare incase i kill my main pod and boom .. at least it will keep me flying over the weekend till i can order the parts on a monday hehe

            Hi Mate

Yes it looked a mess but not as bad as that at the field.

Once I started looking more closely, things went from bad to worse.

When the bill reached over 100 quid I went for the beer

Your flying by the way was the most impressive I have ever seen.

Are you sure you have only been flying 8 weeks?

            Cheers

Mark, I'm gutted for you, that poor little shuttle must have bitten it big time.

Hope you get yourself sorted out soon,

I got my Sceadu Evo 30 Kit from Galaxy Models for £175,

go on, you know you want one.

I can't help you with any shuttle bits I'm affraid as all mine went when I changed to the sceadu.

I feel as a parrot for you mate.
-I don't crash, I just land with enthusiasm.

A couple of 600n's with stuff on them that makes them fly..
A 550 fbl with even more stuff on it to make it fly
And a Mars 470 which needs stuff putting on it to make it fly

                And a DX8 too

Sorry to hear mate, it's always heartbreaking when you have a biggie. Even my little girls upset me when they crash badly. I can't even begin to imagine what it must be like to see a pricey bird like that 'go in' hard.

I think what did the most damage was a small thrash on the ground before I hit throttle cut.

Engine was still running and I still had radio contact.

Just a 'numpty' error by the half arsed pilot I'm afraid.

                    Cheers

The art to cultivate is hitting the throttle hold just before the heli hits the ground, mind you after 19 years I still forget sometimes

I have been overwhelmed with offers of help and second hand bits of kit.

I would like to thank all those with their offers and words to the wise.

You know who you are so many thanks. (If I haven't put a thanks after your post, give me a kick!!)

As for the Shuttle it is truly dead and I'm looking at pastures second hand.

                              Will update soon.

                              Cheers
