Need a 12v rechargable battery very small

Currently im using a 9v nimh rechargable battery like on the picture for my Tx backlight EL sheet

would be better to have 12v and same size or smaller

is something available cant find anything

I had one you could had for free.
But yesterday at the field some guys in a black BMW mugged it from me. I actually give them a demonstration how the charger works too!!

This one could do the job however it isnt rechargable

Im thinking somehow maybe i can put 2 batteries (9v) parallel which gives me an outstanding 18v
there is some more space on the other side inside the Tx

However if i connect both parallel can i still both recharge at the same time just only with 1 connection thesame way im currently charging ?

Did find me a nice upgrade 9,6v and 750 mah
Instead of the 9,0 and 175 i do have currently

@Kev suddenly it hitsme, lipo is not what i want like told the battery is in the Tx
Fire will destroy my Tx and lipos are changing in size they get bigger so nope no lipo for this project
