They are all just toys. Only some are big toys and some are smaller toys. As long as it gives you a buzz
It was just an expression of how I see the 450 after flying larger Helis mate

Nothing wrong with the 450 functionally but I just don't get the buzz from flying it anymore. It's a great tool for practicing the stuff I learn on the sim but these days I wouldn't make the trip to the club with just a 450

Lol, really is the Logo makes you fly smoother! cant really explain it Harv, you need to fly one to see what I mean! Everything feels calm @ around 2200 rpm and the heli stays where you put it on your last command. No dramas!

On the other hand, you have see me fly the 600n, haven't you?

Have to say i went into this hobby like a bull in a china shop. I spent thousands on loads of models( a lot from here) and eventually i realised that it was all wrong.
I sold the 600 airwolf the 600nitro the 600 flb align and the many junk 450's i bought from ebay. I still have the brand new 12 cell 600 align supercombo to build that i bought 13 months ago at weston park. I now have a brand new 450dfc i built but have still to maiden and the same 450dfc align i bought from here used and after changing a dodgy servo i have to say it has been the best thing ever. I can hover away when i get home from work and despite having a smallish garden i am starting to side on hover and move from left to right in a very very lazy eight.
I was the epitome of all the gear, no idea. And that is exactly what i am not now. I am very fortunate in that i could buy any helicopter i wanted at this moment in time and despite loving those goblins, i have seen the light as such and will not buy anymore until my experience warrants it.
i would actually make space for a third 450 as i love it.
I also remeber seeing a 450 at a local flying field and thinking it was a silly toy and that the real thing to have was a 600 or above. (well what a plonker i was and how wrong was I)
As for the original post, i say go for it if you want it mate. Sounds like your heart is set on it and it will give you a real buzz. You could always buy a 450 to practice the big moves on first

Would I trade those 2 in for a Logo? Hell yeah I would. There is just something about them that makes them fly fantastic. My Logo 500 is my favourite heli of the 7 I currently own (might change as I'm just building a Logo 700). It's only when you move away from Align that you realise just how crap their quality really is (oops, the align fun police will be after me now!!!). I've owned 10 Align helis so yes I do have a bit of experience with them, but when you try Mikado or Synergy you understand why Align are cheap. Nothing wrong with them and I wouldn't be where I am in this hobby without them, but there are much nicer helis out there.

Personally I wouldn't trade 2 helis in for just 1. The amount of times I've been to the field with 2 helis in the car and one has had an issue, or I've binned it, is too many for me to only have the 1 heli.

But if you want the 550SX then go for it, as you know you'll do it at some point, but I'd consider keeping one of the others as a standby if you can

get the logo dont know why every 1 says there expensive theres few parts on them side frames £23, no bearing blocks to bend, the plastic either breaks or not, ally u can bend it not notice and cause another crash, lightweight supersmooth high/low head speed does it all, belt drive so chances are in a crash will be ok (ive crashed 3 never broke the belt even though boom was in half) ive now got 2 600sx because there just brilliant nothing else compares to them

I've never flown an Align bigger than 250 so I can't compare, but I am pretty sure you won't have many maintenance issues with Logo (unless you mistreat it). It's also not up to FBL controller how heli flies, I have two vbar helis and they fly completely different, despite settings being almost identical.
Logo is a very smooth heli. Parts are not very expensive, except maybe canopy.

I really think these days what makes the biggest difference in flight characteristics is the FBL controller.
I think this is the way to go, it makes a lot of sense..... I'm going to give it a try as I have only flown beast x

Love my logo. Don't fly it enough as don't have time to join a club unfortunately. Don't think you would regret it. Feels lovely and light in the air. Bags of power and a joy to fly.

i would sell both Aligns, right arm, put the missus up for the highest bidder, kidney and what ever else you can get your hands on, logo's are in completely different class to an Align heli.
