Andy, there isnt a lot wrong with your castle graphs that i can see. If there was something stressing it out you would have current spikes over it's rating of 80 Amps, that's what i would expect and most of your current draw is arround the 60 Amp mark stand fast an odd 80 amp blip. does your motor feel over hot, according to your graph it's barely getting to 70 degrees, which isnt overly hot for a scorpion motor, so all in all i cant see anything majorly wrong. Is the RPM in the graph your head speed or Actual Motor RPM?You mentioned you were using Govenor on you Kontronic ESC are you using Gov on your ICE?

Hi Rick, no, I couldn't see anything wrong either. RPM is H/S, as I've put parameters into ESC. Ratio is 9.15-1. I am going to buy another ESC, which means you can have the gaui's ESC back hahahaha! Ross has sorted me out with the Logo, so I will try it out once I have the pinion and my Tx back, hopefully tomorrow Horizon found nothing wrong with the Tx, but changed the left gimbal for "customer's peace of mind", bloody good customer service, I reckon.
Tried ringing a few times, but got answer phone, trouble is I'm a bit busy as usual lol!!

Hi Tom, here are the config paramaters I had set on last cutout flight. The previous flight, I had the gov enabled and set on high, with headspeeds of 1950(56%T/C), 2150(63%) and 2250 (71%) had a 70% flat line when it cut out?? It won't let me upload config file even if I change file type!

I will just mention, the time I had strange things happen with my Ice 120, what happened was I took off and then flew a gentle circuit (this was the maiden flight of the Rave) everything seemed fine. Then I flipped to idle-up and did another circuit with some rolls and loops and as I came back around suddenly I started loosing power and dropping in height. The heli almost touched the ground about 100 meters away and then sprung back to life and I struggled to bring it back to the landing area with it dying again and almost touching the ground a 2nd time.

I thought it must have been a LiPo cell biting the dust but when I checked it everything looked fine and it still had plenty of charge. Soooo, to make a long story short, later I discovered the problem; When I set the governor headspeeds, the highest one didn't have quite enough headroom because the Ice calculates its headroom based on the lowest possible voltage. To trick it into giving me the throttle setting for the headspeed I wanted I temporarily put in a nominal voltage of something like 45 volts (instead of 44.4). I really thought I had set it back to the correct voltage but when I looked in there it was showing 1 cell of 45 volts instead of 12 cells of 3.7 volts each. So as soon as there was any load put on and the voltage dropped a little it was going into it's cutoff mode. The logs didn't show anything unusual. Anyway, after I set the cell count and voltage back where they should be it was fine.

I may have just stumbled upon the fault on the Synergy. I was so busy blaming the radio and then the ESC, I didn't look at Vbar log. It shows a few low voltage of 3.3v rail warnings. One of them mid flight .
I've just checked my BEC (Gaui ) and output reads 5.8v??, yet when I powered Vbar up to get log, first entry is low voltage warning again??
It has been 100% reliable on my Gaui, but a Tarot ZYX is a tractor by comparison lol! I don't want to jump the gun, but could I have a dodgy BEC? or Vbar??
I have the BEC plugged into AUX channel? Not sure where I read to put it in aux channel, but not being one to stuff anything anywhere, I must have seen it somewhere Can't find it in manual? I've attached log, if anyone wants a look.

Andy, are you 100 percent sure your Lipo's are balanced? just checking... also is your flight battery for your BEC correctly balanced, in laymen terms crap input equals crap output
