Is it me or do major repairs come at the time of the month when you just cant afford it!!! I am only a beginner at this, and was hooked as soon as I took off for the first time. Only have a little EF MASH Rescue Chopper, so although repairs arent to expensive, they still hit the pocket when you add on the fact I have to travel about 30 miles just to get to a spare parts retailer!!! I am now sat at home aching to fly, but unable to as I need new blades, new gear set, new canopy and also a new tail!!! If only the wind handnt picked up quicly yesterday then maybe I would be flying now, but the damn weather decided to through my heli into the side of my house quicker than I could kill the throttle!!!
Oh and while I am here, is it actually worth me repairing it when I can or should I purchase something else, was looking at the ef sabre, but not sure?? The conta rotating blades of the one I have or the CX2 appeal to me as a beginner but want to be able to advance onto larger kits as I get better. Anybody have any thoughts on the matter from when they were beginners and then taking the leap to better models??
