Looking at your collection, it's like Lord Sugar complaining that a packet of polo mints cost 5p too much I shudder to think of the value of your whole collection, but if i had 2 x Logo's a TDR, a Diablo, a Gaul and 2 x Synergy's with a DX18 for good measure, then i probably wouldn't be interested in Blade products either. What are you even doing in this thread mate?

Ross is on this thread because we fly at the same club. It's a weekly past-time taking the p*** out of me and my Blade helis! As for over-priced crap - I don't believe it is overpriced ... as already described in this thread. I certainly don't think it's crap either! I am more than happy with my 550X, and put it beside other,significantly more expensive helis each week.

So far, everyone who as actually looked at my heli up close has commented on how well built it looks - even those that would publicly knock it!

It would be interesting to know when your getting them, not because i want a go, just because the same as the 500 &5500 you guys will be the only ones with them, why, because there over priced toys lol.
Tom, if given the choice of a blade heli or an Align heli, i would choose the Align all day long, and that is the truth, and you know my feelings on Align.

Err it was said tongue in cheek, i was only joining in on the banter, you can post wherever and whatever you like as everyone has their own opinion and you missed that i actually agreed with you, just confused why you waste your time commenting on crappy plastic flying toys as you would probably call them.

Well, if the Blade Pro series is well made and worth the money, it will become popular and you'll almost certainly see one up close. Or, if everyone decides they're rubbish and not worth the money, they won't sell, and then it won't matter if you don't see one!

But as you say, seeing one for yourself is the best way to judge it!

Tom. I think the damage is already done I'm afraid. How many other people other than team pilots do you know of with ether the 500 or 550? Align have the budget Heli market sown up.. Then that just leaves higher end kit makers that don't insist you have to buy their motors and becs.

You may be right, but I doubt HH will give up that easily. I would put very good money on another release in their "Pro Series" being announced very soon (ie. the 700X) - they really are taking the non-micro line of business very seriously. Outside the UK, I think the take-up has been much higher than here in Europe judging by the threads on HeliFreak. HH are a big company, and it's clear they've put a fair bit of development cash into the Pro Series. They will want to recoup on their investment, and I expect they'll do everything to make sure that happens.

In the UK, yes, I think the take up has been very slow. But Blade have got a certain reputation here - many people just can't see beyond the mCPX and 130X, and will judge the 550X and 600X based upon those helis.

Blade are just beginning in this market segment though. But .. they will learn, they will improve ... and I personally wouldn't bet against them being commercially successful in it somehow.

Ultimately, competition against Align, if nothing else will just mean better deals for us - the punters!

A lovely canopy but I prefer the stock one in blue... I sense the colour scheme is very similar to the blade 450 range and hope these are as much a success for them. If I were in the market for a 600 class heli for the price I would definitely consider this one. I really like the look of it :-)
