What a superb weekend, some very superb flying and i believe Jamie deserved the win after some flying that was in 25 plus mph winds with the precision that just stood out so much to me.
The sat eve fun fly was by far some of the best demo type flying i have ever seen, and secured to me that at the moment Dunkan Bossion is my top pilot this year, he was doing stuff with a heli i just can only ever dream of.
A big shout out to Chris Newby, he not only steped up to the plate flying with the top flyers and did not disappoint at all putting on some stunning displays of crazyness with his 600N
Also another big shout to Craig Lorking, that at a moments notice steped in for a no show pilot, grabbed a piece of music of the sound system and flew 2 really nice flights, well done that man
I am now going to sit down and recover and cant wait for next year.

I echo what everyone else says. A fantastic 3 Days at Zone !!

D.Bossion is officially my favorite pilot, the maneuvers he can do are just mental

Big thumbs up too all the SWRCH Crew, you all worked hard through-out the weekend keeping pilots up-to-date, and sorting out flights etc .. well done

Wasn't really surprised J.Robertson won, his flying is incredibly precise and accurate, however, my winner would have been Ben Storrick, it was his first ever competition and his first ever time in the UK, he put on a stunning show for the crowds. Just felt he deserved more than too come 4th, but all the top 4 are fantastic pilots (J.Robertson, E.Goldstein, T.Curlis and B.storrick).

Stu and Ady Smith once again put on a great show and brought a big crowd to the event, they also brought the brilliant weather !

I filmed the event this year and must have took over 100GB of footage. Started the edit for the Zone Event video this evening .. should be good

What a great weekend.I think all the pilots were a superb quality and another that stood out and worth a mention is our very own home grown,Pete Gray (trex-pedro)..he was a nervous as a kitten this morning but has proved him self to be a Lion! Well done Pete you can truly call yourself a "world class pilot"

A massive thank you to James Moon,Paul(geek)Houghton,Pete(Ern) Howe,Richard Williams,Nicky Moon,Victoria Houghton,Harry and Ashley Moon and my lad Dan Temple......AKA the South West Crew.... That was a hard weekend of work, each and everyone put in 100%. I am so proud to be able to call you friends.

Epic epic weekend. Fantastic company as ever with my good friends SWRCH crew. What a laugh we had and massive thanks for all the hard work. Massive thanks to Stu, Ade for all your hard work and making such an amazing event.
Every single pilot flew superbly. Stunning flying by all. Massive congrats to the winners. My fave pilot was Duncan Bossion. No doubt the people's champion.
Sunday evening fun fly was just massively epic. I have never seen such impressive flying in my life. Truly awesome. I couldn't stop smiling all night. Again Duncan Bossion was epic but a special mention to Chris Newby. Ace flying and you made us laugh so much.
So much I haven't mentioned, could talk all night about it all.
Still buzzing from it all and made a few new friends to. Thanks all

                              Re: Zone 2013

Great times. Great flying with the world's best who are all so helpful.

                              Enjoyed every minute

The Fly in was the best place to find out about setups and ask to see moves ect
Even ask the pro's for what they thought of your setup

(Sorry Timo) who kindly let me watch his sticks while he thrashed his Tsa. Until thr pack's where empty. Like proper empty. 3% about 10 minutes after flying. Oops

This ran on until the light gave in
So off for a few drinks with great friends who had made the effort from around the world.

                              Sunday for the Swrch crew.
                              Was the madest day.
From 6 in the morning until 12 at night. Flat out mad but also so much fun.

Standards of the flyers was even higher then last.

Monday for the crew ran a lot smoother.
.(think this was helped by the fact the all wanted to win. )

Yes the Navey air base traffic control held us up a little which we tried to keep to a minimum but nothing more could be done. Sorry

The last 4 flights for me you could just see they all wanted to win so hard.

Thanks again to the Swrch lads for great times.

I did meet a lot of new friends.
So hello and thanks for the support.
I know you all enjoyed it because of all the smiles and great comments. All weekend

It must of been good I didn't use the forum for 3 days

                              Roll on 2014
                              Cheers Paul
