Just got home, had an excellent day
I'm fairly well cooked after a day of sitting in the sun watching some world class pilots doing what they do best

Well done to all involved in putting on a great comp and even more well done to all the pilots I'm feeling inspired

And my 550 got a treat too

Everyone at zone is working very hard Rachael its in its infancy still.
Stu & Ady on Friday at 2pm dissapeered from the fun fly to set up the area ready for today.
I left the flyin at 5.45 & there was no sight of either of them whilst we were all having fun.
A lot of the southwest Heli members get drafted in to assist boggy james moon geek Victoria james wife Nicky etc
I don't quite see who could be left to do a pr job, lucky for me I had a 3G signal do I managed to upload a few vids but whilst doing that I missed a lot of good pilots flights unfortunately. I really wish I could have filmed dunkan Bossion but I was half way through uploading Trex pedro's flight when he came to the flight line.

Sorry , please don't think I am faulting zone , I know how hard they have all worked , but it's now a world class event and so deserves world class pr .
Maybe something to consider for next year a dedicated pr person . Well done all

The night flying tonight was off the scale! Incredible. Dunkan Bossion and Jamie Robertson were wowing the crowds with their showmanship,but as darkness decended and with no lights our very own Chris Newby blew them away with some absolutely sensational low buttercup cutting and an attempt to fly through a gap in a tree! (intentional and successful ) however just before going through he realized if it came off he would not know where the heli was going or be able to retrieve it so he hit hold Jamie who was one peg down landed and gave him a bow ,Dunkan screamed "Man I ****ing love you"....now that is indeed praise of the highest order
Heli harry followed that with the last flight using his very clever blades ,sky writing and using images in the disk to thank the zone sponsors and advertise up coming events.
