Kasama Speed CUP at AIR

This has been a while in the planning so I am very pleased to announce that we will be sponsoring the Speed Cup event at AIR this year.

Gavin Broadbent will be over from the Kasama factory with his famous speed Faifa and Ben Varley will be chasing him down the strip with Spunky the speed TDR.

We will soon be accepting entrants for the event, but are still to agree the format with Grant, we'd rather see fewer entrants with machines built for purpose than a run what you brung style event.

We are hoping to set new world records and I have asked the current record holder if he would like to come and defend his title, watch this space.

Also Mr Kasama himself has promised me he will try his best to attend as long as the UAV project with the Thai military doesn't hold him back.

So come on, what will you run? Can you break 150mph?

He told him that the sun will be shining, it will be a balmy 23* no wind, all the blades of grass will be 6.34mm long, there will be green tea in the hospitality tent and Ben is allowed to wear his Superman outfit to fly in

Guys, what can I say. I cant wait now!!!!

Oh yessss, I really hope they can both make it.

Its gonna be friggin awesome as Gavin is a demon in the speed runs and a legend in the speed runs circles. If there is one person and heli I dont mind losing to its gonna be the Speed Faifa and Gavin I can hope to at least to get some great tips on how to improve my technique as it is somewhat lacking. So this is a test for me in that I do not mind where Spunky comes as its all part of the build up for me to what I have wanted to with this and its a WR attempt so this is the first step in that.

I know Barnes is entering his TDR but with Mat at the raines. I need more air time as my flying for the speed needs a lot more practice.

i might give it a go, got 121 out of a 3d set-up 700DFC last year, so with tweeks could get it shifting
