Midland Helicopter Club Open Fly-in weekend 11th and 12th June 2011

I really enjoyed this fly-in, Thanks to all the people who commented on my flying, I know you where only being nice. Thanks also to Rob Ecclestone for helping me with my Trex 600E pro and Mattie with his advice on my 700. (I'll get intouch Mattie when I've upgraded the software to 5.1 )

We were really disappointed that the weather let us down, but very grateful to all you guys who joined us over the weekend. We are also entirely understanding that people stayed away today as it really was quite miserable. That said, those there still found things to talk about and we will sure look forward to doing the next one. Thanks again to all those who came, those who would have come if it was dry and to the guys in thd club who always do their best to make the field a great place to fly.

Apart from the weather spoiling it today I still had a great time .. And even flew some for a change lmao ... As always a pleasure meeting up and generally ****ing about with the usual suspects ... Gotta love Charlie the photographer

Was going to drive up today until I looked at the forecast, ended up round the In-laws instead
