MHC Open Fly-in weekend 21st and 22nd June 2014

OK Guys, the counter starts today and the weather forecast is for dry and sunny weather, temperatures between 18 - 21 degrees and wind no more than 8 MPH................Although it may be a little higher than that in some of the campers tents overnight following some BBQ and beers!!!! \

So are you ready for it?????????????????

Can't seem to interest anyone locally so will probably be coming on my own like a right billy no mates so you'd better be a friendly bunch!!

The welcome is guaranteed to be as warm as the weather!! Seriously George, the regulars and club members will make you very welcome and we all just muck in to have a blast.....if you have a look at past years posts and events you will see it is a great weekend where everyone has fun, but do bring your sense of humour which is mandatory

had confirmation of some blades on the way from Phil at Revolution and a prize from Keith at Robbe.....thank you chaps, is means we are sure to have the usual table full of awesome goodies.

Weather forecast continues to say awesome dry, sunny and calm wether so we could ask for no kore, but do come prepared or go home with panda faces lol

I can come up Saturday so long as I can get from either Nuneaton or Tamworth stations to the field, I'll look this up and see what the distance is, if there are taxis at those stations etc.

yes, taxis run from both stations and if you let me know what station/time you are arriving I will put a post out to our members to see if anyone is passing to offer a lift

Looks like Atherstone is also an option. It's a shame that Polesworth isn't operating as it looks very close, right on the doorstep.

Atherstone would be good, they have taxis too but let me know what time you are arriving so i can see if we can help

I would be at Atherstone at 1 on Saturday afternoon. It's the same route that calls at Nuneaton and Tamworth so it looks something like;

12:19 Milton Keynes Central
12:42 Rugby
12:54 Nuneaton
13:00 Atherstone
13:09 Tamworth

I haven't booked anything as yet, I usually just buy the ticket when I get to the station.

OK, well I have put out a club mail and will let you know if any offers of a lift arrive but if you have to taxi, it is only 10-15 mins from Atherstone
