    Look at this on eBay:

Blade 450X BNF (bind 'n' fly)

    Shep0479,
That link looks dodgy, Go directly to Electronics, Cars, Fashion, Collectables, Vouchers and More Online Shopping | eBay then search from there to make sure your not being redirected. It might be fine but your link is not the same address as the page it takes you to.

Best deal I found on the 450X was from RCHeliguru using the 5% coupon code (BMFA5) came out at £274 I think. Good people to deal with too.

I don't believe it's a scam. The page links to one that has no bids as yet, but a starting bid of £180. There's nothing I can see that would indicate it's a scam.

      HOWEVER ...

Personally, I would only buy second hand heli stuff from somebody on here (in the "for sale" section). That way, I have a better chance of it being someone who knows about helis who is selling it, and who hasn't crashed it through inexperience then is simply trying to offload.

Ordinarily - I just buy new. I'd recommend you do the same really, that way you get proper support if/when you need it.

Ebay really is a "buyer beware" environment in my opinion ....

i doubt very its a scam the guy has 100% feedback over quite a few years

though i doubt it will finish on a bid of £180.

better with a T-rex anyways hehe

          Guys,
I think you may have misunderstood.
How do you know that that is an ebay page you are looking at?
Look at the address in the link, it's NOT part of the ebay domain?
If you right click (in firefox) and go to inspect element for the link then do the same for Electronics, Cars, Fashion, Collectables, Vouchers and More Online Shopping | eBay you will see that the domains are different.
It might be nothing but it could be a malware type redirect to something nasty.
This has nothing to do with a legitimate auction on ebay or decent seller.
The auction looks legit, the link does not. It could be a man in the middle scam that harvests your ebay username and password then passes the browser on to the legit page.
          Hope this helps.

ah right i see what your saying now, na its legit, if u had to re sign into ebay again though that would be a different story.

it would be a weak attempt at some phishing lol

The link is just a "short URL" - Bitly and tinyurl are classic examples. They're used to avoid pasting long URLs in places like this.

Once you get past the short URL, you can verify the site identity from your browser. Once you sign in, you can verify the site certificate as being genuine EBAY.

Indeed - the short URLs can be confusing. Best trick if you're ever unsure is to check the site certificate in your browser. Most popular browsers (ie. firefox, chrome, safari, IE) allow you to see the certificate just to the left of the website address.

I have a question about my newly aqquired B450 3D. When using training gear/legs, are they supposed to prop the helicopter off its landing gear or just extend out to prevent tipping over? Cheers. Does anyone have any close pics of how the central mount is attached. Cheers.

On my 450-3D I found it easier to mount the training legs off the main frame. ie. there was a round central piece into which the training legs connected. This central piece I zip tied securely to the bottom of the main frame.

I tried originally to try to connect the training legs to the landing skids with little or no success. I found that if I did get the trainings legs to attach to the skids, they slipped almost immediately causing more problems than they were solving.

It comes as a full combo (FBL controller, servos, motor, esc) for around £225 which to me seams like an absolute bargain. The Mini Titan flies really well and being plastic framed, I have found it to be a little more forgiving in the inevitable crashes than the equivalent Align 450. I have 2 Mini Titans (one FBL and one FB) both of which are great.
Ruston im seriously considering one of these, I have a TT innovator and the expert, cracking helis, the TT 325 sport looks like an awesome deal, prob is I cant find any parts for it, does it used the same parts as the mini titan? also the cheapest I can find it is £250
