Well on my first battery was able to hover at eye level and move around slowly all tail in. Near the end noticed the main blades were slightly out. One was slightly higher than the other.
So 2nd battery and adjusted main blades and continued to practice hovering.
Then saw mrs and my talent failed. Tried to spin heli slowly to hover nose in and got a bit out of shape so didn't panic just brought the heli down slowly. Then at the last minute clipped the kerb with the training gear and it flipped sideways. Flicked the throtle hold but the main blade has a crack in it, bent the main shaft and flybar and a big chip out of the paddle.
So basically started well but failed to finish.

When you turn the heli it will move towards you or away from you depending on the way you turn it. Don't turn it too far to begin with, and be prepared to turn it back to tail in to get back control. As you get used to it you can work your way to full right and full left. Nose in hovering is more difficult than moving nose in.

Is the B400 an upgrade from a previous coax, or did you just plunge in and have a crack? I only ask as I'd like to know what peoples paths were into the heli flying hobby. Some people seem to spend a lot of meticulous hours learning, where others can pick it up in no time at all.

I skipped a co-ax and got a 4ch fixed pitch (Tamco ev.04) then a 6ch collective pitch (Blade Nano CPX).
I have also (as people on here will tell ya) been on Phoenix alot.
I still feel a noob and have a big way to go, I just need the weather now.
I was flying the Nano indoors only but when theres little to no wind am happy outside.

Excellent stuff - good to hear your success story. I'm sure you will let us all know how you get on once you have the weather on your side .

I have been looking for an entrance to the world of outdoor flight, have been considering either a blade 400 or a 250 to get me an opening :-).
