Hi All.
My names Alex and Im from Essex and looking to get into Helicopters (surprise surprise lol). I have previously owned a blade mcx and got bored very quickly with the limited flight that this heli provides, so I sold it with the intention of getting the MSR to progress to fixed pitch.
Now, this may seem quirky, but I have just 'youtubed' these little quadcopters that are on the market, and I am astounded by what these little micro machines can do. Ive always dismissed these quadcopters because of their strangeness, but I am actually beginning to like the idea of these mini machines. From what I can see at the moment from videos is that these little machines can do some cool things that the msr cant do and vice versa, and I am really torn between the two. They both have their pros and cons, but both can lead to complete different directions over time. I honestly thought Id have a trex 450 in a few years time, but now it looks like I could have this rather strange hobby of the 4 legged creatures.
My ultimate aim is to have fun, fly in my house and fly in the park! Maybe I should just go heli and quad and see what both brings.
Thanks for having me guys, and any info on quads will be much apreciated.
Thank you.
Alex (Essex)
