hi guys not sure if this will help or just throw another spanner in the works!!!!
most new office light fittings come with high frequency ballasts in them this could be causing the problem indoors especialy as it doesnt seem to efect you out doors.
try turning the lights off on that floor

Definitely sounds (from your description) like you are getting radio interference/glitching.
There's been a few suggestions on things to try to combat that in this thread already... which seem to cover it, so I hope you manage to sort it out!
One final thought - it could be to do with electronics layout on the heli so can you post a picture of your current layout - perhaps ther might be an issue there?

ive been so lucky with my belt cp. ive never had any of the problem that have been mentioned on lots of different threads - esc blowing up, glitching, head vibrations etc.
mine flys sweet. just fitted a schulze 6ch rx and programmed it to my new ff7 tx. i must of done about 50 flights with the standard esky tx and rx and no problems.
so i have a tx, rx and a set of xtals that im not using anymore which i might sell (open to offers) but you might be better getting a 2.4ghz system.

cheers

Eve All hope your all good
Hiya Guys hope you are all good and well
and that you have all had a nice day
Mine has been busy as always slaving away trying to earn a living in this over taxed bloody country lol
Anyways thanks all so much for your help , your good guys and it's so apreciated as I felt alone and lost lol nothing new hehe
I'm gonna try all of your suggestions on sunday just hope weather will be fine , first thing I'll do is try some other crystals as I may well be getting interference from surrounding electrical stuff (I was also flying indoors , my mate has a belt and his is fine in same location, so will borrow his crystals) hopefully this is it and I shall finally fly
and if that don't work I'll try changing the transmitter and receiver .
Anyways dinner time for me , guys thanks again I'll keep you all posted , enjoy yourselves and take care Ben

I'm having the same problems, in fact messed up two set of blades, the main rotor shaft and some other small parts.
I've flown R/C Airplanes for over 14 years and never had a problem with interference like this before. I don't understand what can be happening.
Anyone researching this problem?

Update
It seems that my issue might be the BEC overheating. I've attached a small CPU cooling fan to the ESC and a small 2 cell lipo and have flown for several minutes without issue. There were a couple flight before with no issue but the temp outside was in the 40's here in Mass when things were good. So I plan on putting a ParkBEC switching BEC in to see if that resolves the problem.

Hi to everyone here. Had my belt cp for a week now all was going well until I increased the hover pitch on the tx wh ich resulted in a more stable hover however the power suddenly dropped and I had to land. On the next flight it happened again which resulted in a crash (new feathering shaft and baldes). After much research online I'm thinking the esc is overheating due to the increased strain on the motor, I've heard the stock esc is not really up to coping with the motor that comes with the belt cp. Does anyone know what I need to do to swop the esc is it a straight swop or more complicated than that?
Many thanks Rob
