hi guys i'm totally new to rc helicopters , and have just bought a blade 120 sr and spektrum dx5e transmitter to get started , however after reading other posts in here , i think i need a simulator to get some virtual practise in first , my question is what simulator would work with my transmitter ? i have just bought ..........

    RC HELI MASTER FLIGHT SIMULATOR

off ebay , and this comes with its own transmitter , would this simulator serve my purpose before i attempt to fly the blade ?

      Hi

Phoenix will work, and its the most popular sim (and the best IMO)

I've just ordered it off e-bay for £51.99 , so hopefully the helicopter , transmitter , and flight sims will all land at once at my front door , as soon as new year is over

+1 for Phoenix. Not the cheapest but certainly an excellent sim. I use mine almost everyday if the weather is not flyable!

The bottom line is £51.99 will not get you into seriously flying model helicopters..... its as simple as that

No Chris... but it is certainly a good start.

People have to start somewhere and it is better than people start off slow and cheap and work their way up then to spend out hundreds only to find out they don't like it or can't do it.

I don't see any point is discouraging people just because they don't want to or can't spend more do you? If they grow to like it they will then move on and get the bigger, better and more expensive won't they.

i dont know what to make of that statement. i think £51 on phoenix WILL seriously get you in rc aircraft big time and ruin your life and make you skint all the time lol
