i can fly it in the front room just as well as a friend who has a blade cx2
just the e-sky is 35 megs maybe that why it less than half the blade price

            Thanks again for your replies,
But now I kinda lost, which one should I choose, medivac, helixx, blade cx2, e-sky V4 BNIB?
Bearing in mind my sitting room is not that large but large enough, if you know what I mean.
            Regards.

Blade is the best one for the money, the cheaper ones quality is reflected in the price but they will do the job as well, depends how much you wanna spend for now

If it's purely for indoors & you will never be flying it outside it has to be a contra rotating heli i.e helix, medivac, lamma etc thats going to cost £80 ish
If you want the best contra it has to be the blade cx2 it has a 2.4 gig radio which is where the extra cost is I think thats about £110.
If your a quick learner & just know your going to be hooked & into the bigger stuff very quickly then dont get a contra go straight for a collective pitched machine theres a new one out called the blade 400 Boggy has one & they are £260 have to shop about for that price though.
Helis are very expensive to get interested in but on top of that it is all to easy to waste your money so do your home work it will pay in the long run.

My little lad just got a Hoverlites rc helicopter for christmas...first time i have tried to fly one and must admit its pretty difficult, although it is only a two channel one and doesn't seem to fly too well...he likes it though

It has got me interested so thats why i have just joined the site.

Just had a quick look on ebay and wondered if this would be any good for indoor use

                      http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/R-C-Helix-6Way...QQcmdZViewItem

Already downloaded FMS but would like a RC that i could attach to the pc to practice with

                        welcome to the site mate.
i think most people here will not know if these heli's are any good as they are really classed as toys. if you want advice on a decent beginners helicopter theres tons of help and advice available. if i was you i would consider one of these decent beginner heli like the blade cx as appose to a toy as this toy would probably hinder your progress later on. the more you pay the easier it is to fly in my experience.

I am definately thinking of the blade cx2 or the twister medevac, can anyone point me to the best place to buy the blade cx2, and again why is this heli so much more expensive, why is a 2.4gig radio better?
                          Many thanks.

they basically all use similar parts and all fly pretty much identical.

the best of the lot is a blade cx2 as it has 2.4ghz system which means you wont get any interference! however having this goes over your budget so u should then look to the cheaper options...

esky robin 22, Jp twister medivac, esky v4 (i never seen this) and helixx (i never seen this either) these will pretyy much all give the same performance,

i say go to your local model shop and see which one he stocks because that way u will have the spares a car drive away for wen u crash!

                            cheers,
                            Tom

just pointing out the V4 not much different than the blade to fly and for the same money you can get two V4s
i thought would be useful for those not wanting to spend to much just to have a go at the hobby before committing a large amount of money

I am now going to bang my head against a brick wall, I was going to spend the extra on the cx2, however, the esky v4 looks pretty much identical but much cheaper, help!
