What do you guys think regarding a 450 fbl? I'm used to a 3axis fbl system but obvisouly it costs a bit more. I'm also wondering if I'll have compatibility problems with the devo rx and something like the 3gx?

I think the beastx is the best choice for fbl - it will certainly work with your TX, and honestly flies much better than a 3GX (yes I've had both on a 450).

Regarding building yes I was a bit dissapointed after finishing my 600 (my first build) - it took about 6 hours maximum and I now wish I had gone the second hand route with it really.

I think the 450 is almost entirely assembled - just attach the head and boom.
