        Hmmmm.
This is starting to get a bit of a theme with Midland....
Order things then you find out later they don't actually have it and you're left waiting.
I think I might start shopping elsewhere.

                here:

also a video. a bit of tail wagging going on there but i read that can be sorted out with a simple cheap gyro upgrade. personally i think it looks a bit too plasticy but my eye is more on the radio, i want something that can fly planes too comfortably.

btw i think its a noisy little beast for its size

ok, complete honesty time. I for one am not yet able to chuck a heli around like they do on the video. Therefore, I've no need for a competition spec gyro (something which if we're honest with ourselves, most of us - given that this is the beginners forum, should identify with) on a 300 quid rtf heli. Equally, the noise is quite something in my humble opinion, it'll certainly turn a few heads!

hopefully its just pilot error in not setting it up first. i saw a second clip of it recently and noticed at one point it was violently tick tocking on its pitch axis while performing an inverted loop so i might just wait to hear some owners opinions before i order.

me too im learning so i need something nice but cheap to fix.

i think its a noisy little bugger and that second clip i saw sounds dodgy, at the very end when he lands it sounds like he has thrown it about so much the main gear has worn, it sounds like a nitro its so rough, i dunno if thats normal or a sign of cheap build quality. the clip is here:

I'm amazed that anyone can see what the heli's doing on that tiny video, let alone base judgement on it. I've watched the larger (broadband version) and it's all much less jerky. Admittedly it's a wee bit noisy at the end of the vid but that's ok - my Sceadu .50 makes a lovely racket (even with a Zimmerman muffler).

Again, I'm wary of critisism (?sp) based on a grainy 30 second video, E-Flite have a cracking repuatation and I'd be amazed to see them risk it all on what could be their best selling model on the run up to xmas. Sign me up please!
