      Guys,

Have bought a second hand MSR, that way if I get bored I can resell for the same amount, assuming it was advertised honestly and in good order. I think it will be better for me in the short term and a good learning tool. once mastered will go for a new MCPX with a DX6. But for now it will do.

Great, and good thinking! Come back to this thread and add how you got on with it, it'll be good to know how good the advice was (so the next person can be more lucky )

Today just received a Nine Eagles 260A. Very similar to the MSR but cheaper looking. I bought it on a whim on ebay from China for £47 inclusive of £17 delivery. have seen them flying around on you tube and thought for the money it had to be worth trying. Will be interesting to compare to the MSR....

Just got it trimmed and run it for two charges. Love it! Not that it is particularly good as a model.. looks pretty brittle and lowish quality... but having loads of fun and probably safe to say I have caught the bug!! Have to say though that for the money it was a steal. Buzzflyer sell them for £70 I think.
So far been round the room a few times and working towards having some control before I use the roll control more.. Cant wait to get the MSR!

The first £1000 is the hardest

Good time of year to be getting into it with the indoor ones. Looking back on it, that's what I did - mSR and Phoenix all winter and then a 450 in the Spring.
