Thanks graham,i think it is too much negative pitch, finding it hard to land smoothly lol if you know of any video anywhere i could watch to do this process that would help too.
    Back soon.

I would imagine that with a little practice, you'll smooth the landings out. Don't forget, if it's hovering in normal mode just above half stick, it'll be descending anything below that, so to descend slowly, just back it off a fraction, not like quarter stick.

Don't know of any vids, Sorry, but Ill see if I can take a couple of photos to show what I mean (Bear with )

You also need to remember, the mcpx is a cp heli and as such needs to have a little negative pitch, even when being flown gently, as it helps get the heli back down if it gets a bit too high Its just a matter of getting used to lowering the stick a little more carefully.
Also try and get into the habit of hitting throttle hold if you think your going to crash, as this allows the heli to just flop out of the sky rather than powering in (Which does the most damage)

          OK, here's what I mean.

First set the blades at 90 degrees to each other in the blade grips by pushing the leading edge forward as far as it will go.

Then power the heli up and turn on throttle hold on the TX
Set the collective / throttle stick to centre/mid point and check both blades are level with each other as shown.
This is Zero pitch and = No lift either up or down.

Positive pitch (Stick up) looks like this.

And negative pitch (Stick down) looks like this.

Tiddler thanks for pics, when at mid stick they droop quite a bit, there deffo not level, have to get stick to about 65% before they look anything near level.
How can i adjust this please?

I struggle alot with this heli, i've demolished all of my spare linkages. I cant actually get the heli to gain height properly (as if the gear is loose moving up and down) but it isnt .... damn thing is a nightmare sometimes :P. It is funny when you loose control in a smallish area, freak out, and it flies around like a mad wasp ..... god bless the throttle hold !

Yeah m8, its all three rods that go from the servos to the swash plate, Just pop them off the swash and unscrew them a couple of turns each until the blades are level at mid stick.

Also before popping them back on the swash, put a spare canopy gromet on each of the small swash balls. This takes out any slop and stops the mid air wobbles

You should have some spare gromets that came with your heli, assuming you bought it new that is.
