    well done fella, now taken mine off and just put on some larger undercarriage, hopefully it'll help.

      It's got to be said, the Trex 450 is very wallowy with the balls on, but when getting to grips with hovering a coupla feet off the ground, they're a big money saver. Take 'em off and watch the wallet shrink. But tht's when the buzz kicks in, massive enjoyment. Good luck.

        Totally agree with Pete here - I spent quite some time thinking about the tail rather than the nose, which just confused me in "brown trouser" moments. Once I changed my ways, things fell into place much quicker and I think I'm making more progress now.

          Congrats with getting it off mate, it makes the Heli fly much nicer without it! I personally wouldn't use it for learning side on because you will start to rely on it. If you can take off and land then it's better to learn without. If your worried about the tail (mainly torque tube if applicable) then put a 500 size vertical stab on it and that should keep the tail a wee bit higher for you

            Well done Loz, no more chicken legs for you.

            Now go fly fly and fly some more and things will get easier, I know it's hard but remember height is ur friend as it gives u more time to recover

              Problem I'm gonna hav now is only being able to get out at weekends with the nights drawing in fast that's gonna slow things down

                Yeh iv heard some people put 500 size landing gear on the 450 spose it gives a slightly larger platform to land might give it a go
