first time out with the 450 this evening and thought id try some hovering without the training gear, only flew a couple of packs as its a tad blowy tonight, but heli is still intact and only one brown trouser moment lol
Well dun. I had them on for ages and all my mates took the **** lol
Take em wen it feels right. But I found getting use to getting some Hight as soon as it. Was going wrong helped me to not rely on them
Its a good fellin aint it, I can comment as other say I do feel my heli (450) more stable without but its always nice to have that protection just incase you're unsure.
think one of the probs wiv taking it off is visibilty, i kinda got used to watching the yellow balls for orientation, got neon yellow paddles, tail blades and fins so might help a bit

One piece of advice, only use the nose for orientation/control, you'll get into trouble later if you don't.
