align esc settings for begginer?

i have a trex 450 and a 500 with standard align esc's, ive been looking at the settings in the instructions and wondered what i should have a couple of them set to, as a begginer just hovering.
should it be on the high cut off voltage protection or medium? and should i have the throttle response on standard, medium or quick speed and last question, should the electronic timing be, low, mid or high with the standard motor. thanks for yr advice

Go with the manuals bulleted standard settings.

Leave it as supplied if new, otherwise set it to the following Bleeps:-

it wasnt new so at the mo i got 1,2,2,2,1 so only difference is the medium throttle response, mines on standard, cheers, loz
