    Thanks for all the congrats. I was eager to get the 'A' as I'm going to take semi-retirement and this will give me plenty of opportunity to fly helis at my local field during the week.
    I'm very fortunate to belong to two excellent clubs, Colchester MFC & West Essex Aeromodellers, both have active and growing heli memberships with none of the heli V fixed wing nonsense that seems to bog down many other MFCs.

      For the Heli A....
      Demonstrate basic tail-in hovering over a T shaped 10 Metre course. Also fly X2 slow lazy 8s over a 30 metre course demonstrating good speed management and control with the model fully sideways on at the cross-over. Not particularly difficult in itself, but it does need to be flown quite accurately. Usual questions and safety stuff as per BMFA manual.

          You'll be fine!!.........As a club F/W examiner for WEA, and taking the heli 'A' in front of a crowd of club mates, it wasn't easy to stop my knees from knocking as well LOL.
