yes blame the heli, its a piece of junk. I have one which I bought when I first started and I still cant fly it properly and I fly 3D. Its just all over the place. Its very dishearting for a beginner

Blade msr or mcx is the way foward IMO, I have crashed my msr so many times into the floor, walls, people etc and its still in one piece

      Hi newboy.
like said before don't be to hard on yourself everything comes with time,i had to learn with no sim and by myself as i can't get to any local clubs.
But if your interested in the hobby and want something a bit more reliable i have my 450 for sale will need a TX&RX.
Flies lovely as it gets used nearly everyday, but my 500 is calling to be flown and need the money
      Cheers Aaron

        Hi newboy,
I started with the King3 and had a hard time trying to hover,,
        cost a lot on repairs...
Then a friend told me to get the trex 450 and no problem..
total difference in flying,,, but the sim is where i did most of my learning,,
The hard part is putting it to the real thing,,
Cheers and wish you all the best..

Yep, you can very much blame the heli. They truly are horrible things. I had a similar cheapo fixed pitch heli at first and it was virtually impossible to fly.
When I got my first decent cp heli (The TT Innovator) I couldn't believe the difference. It was like entering a different hobby, one which had suddenly became very pleasurable and satisfying

              Good advice that is.

An MSr is agood little indoor job that costs nearly nothing to repair.

But..TBH..if cash and time are a problem I don't think RC Helis are for you. Whatever you do there is always the next thing..and believe me, the next thing costs money. It's bit like a Honey Trap..once in you've had it

A sim is a good idea, taking the heli to a local club and learning to fly it may also save you a few quid, but buying a heli that you won't always be fighting is also worth the money. An Msr does that.

              Whatever, please enjoy.

I got one when I first started and it nearly finished me as well. The good news though is that it is not you, it really is the heli that is the problem.

I know some people do manage to learn on that thing but it really is not the easiest or cheapest way to get started once you add in all the spares you will use and factor in that every time you crash there is a good chance you may not get it back together perfectly either.

Something like an mCX or an mSR would have been a much better place to start.
Totally agree...my first heli was a honeybee fp. What a waste of money! I tried and tried but no matter what I couldnt hover that thing. So I bought me a Raptor 30v2...What a difference! Im not saying go out and buy something like a Raptor but the MCX or MSR (I have owned both) are definitly the way to go. So dont be put off because you cant hover a Honeybee fp.
