What was your first heli?

Started witha raptor 30 crashed and gave up, so now im given it ago again hopefully with abit more luck with my new Trex 600 LE

Yep you never forget your first heli especially if ya still have scars on your arm over 3 years later from when it chopped through it like I have! I had a twister bell coax heli then I bought a Walkera 60b off the internet. I thought it looked good as it had all the nice shiny metal parts. Unknown to me it had dodgy raido gear in it and when I plugged the lipo in...It just went bezerk and I couldn't get my arm away in time I'd never touch a Walkera again.

I have read on other forums that Walkera helis are not much good due to very cheap parts but I have no personal experience with them. Thank you for the warning of dodgy hidden parts...

It all started of with me with a hirobo shuttle 30 / then spent loads on it & blinged it up to the max had that for around a year & from there never stopped now have my own heathrow airport at home

got a 325 titon, raptor 50e,trex600e,600n.500cf,700n,nuva500gf, for my
AH64G Apache
then old 600e for my HIND project and somewhere in that lot
i've met a lot of realy solid people

Started a few months ago with a Honey Bee FPV2, which I still have as it is a fantastic trainer!

Currently building a HK450, close to completion now the royal mail have started delivering again..

Century spirit co-ax. It went back to the shop because it wouldn't even lift off the ground. Changed for a Century Mini Pred. Truly awful build quality and surprisingly expensive to repair. MCCPM made the setup easy, but the motors and ESCs would frequently fry.

T rex 250 was my first heli and thinking about it now I just cant believe I learnt to fly with it, because when I fly it now it whizz's around like a wasp on speed!!!!

That was 12 months ago and now I have 2off 250s a 450 2off 500s 3 off 600s nitro and 2off 700s.

Micron V2 - bought 4 years ago from Buzzflyer for about 200 squid and could never get it to fly. Still have it not sure what to do with it, I doubt I would get much for it.

House fire :-( Lost all the models i had (4 cars, 6 planks, 3 helis)

Starting the hangar collection again....with a T-rex 500 :-)(aka the Mistress) and 3 planks, so far......

My first heli was a Micromold Lark...still got some pictures of it...you set the pitch and coning angle with molegrips...and in the days before gyros were even though about....it was fun......
