Just to add- the author don't half go on a bit, but follow his instructions pretty much to the word- he's teaching you discipline which you need in spades to progress in the hobby.

This and Phoenix should put you in good stead.

The little bugger moves a bit doesn it
I really wish they would use the term "spots hall flyer" instead of "indoor"
So many new people go and buy an indoor heli and then soon find out they dont have enough room

The average home in the Uk is only good for a MCX to be honest!

certainly does......doesnt help that the living room is cluttered with 7ft garden ornament (xmas tree) and loads of xmas cards......there's bloody turbulence everywhere it goes, lol......

Having said that, there is an indoor flying afternoon near me on the 9th, so i'll get some practise in, and go along to that.......

Managed to get it trimmed last night quite well, will run another few batteries thru it tonight :-)

Is it tru to not let it fly until LVC as this knacker's batteries???

Yes. Best to time the flight and go for about 80% of max. Also let the heli and the battery cool down before flying/charging. New batteries are very good. I use the overlander 165mah/26C for about £7 for two.
